(More customer reviews)This is a great item for solo kayakers who don't have someone to help move a heavier kayak across the rocks or sand when loading, unloading. I have a fiberglass kayak. While I can lift it alone, it is awkward and a little heavy if it is any distance from car to lake. I put these little wheels on in just a few seconds and lift up the front of my kayak and away I go. I can even load my paddles, life jacket and anything else I am taking into the kayak and just haul the whole thing in one trip. It is light enough to throw into the cargo hold if you plan on portaging anywhere.
It has cut down on the extra scratches and scapes I have acquired on other trips where I had to drag it a little.
