(More customer reviews)I bought this from my dealer with my new Pilot Touring, but ended up returning it and getting the Thule roof mount system. I thought that this would allow you to load up two bikes and then swing them out of the way to access the hatch. It doesn't you must remove the bikes from the rack and - only after removing the bikes - it allows you to pivot the rack downwards towards the ground to access the hatch. It is actually easier - once the bikes are removed - to just pull it out of the hitch receiver and remove the rack than it is to pull the pin and pivot the whole thing down.
This might work OK for someone as an inexpensive solution, but don't expect you will be able to access your hatch with a loaded rack. It doesn't work the same way as the similar hitch mount Thule system (which is three times the price).
