(More customer reviews)Last year I was looking for a way to cool the air in our camper and didn't want an air conditioner, as they use a lot of energy and require a generator. Sales people were largely uninformed as to options, then I happened on the Turbo Kool product. It is a small evaporative cooler that uses only a few amps of 12 volt power and really does the job. At least in the dry West, where the humidity is low. The installation was quick and easy, and we added their solar panel. Since then, we've been able to go camping anywhere, being self-contained, and stay comfortable on the hottest days. Especially nice not to need a noisy generator! A friend put one on both his cab-over camper and enclosed horse trailer.
